Chief Preye Ogriki is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria; Associate Member, the Nigerian Institute of Management; Fellow, Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, Honorary Senior Member, Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria.
He has over 35 years’ un-broken cognate experience spanning Civil Service, Commercial Banking, Public Service, Mortgage Banking, Microfinance and Business Consultancy; having served as Executive Director (Corporate and Investment Banking), Fortune International Bank Plc. Before this, he held various Executive Management positions in Allstates Trust Bank Plc including Financial Controller; Head, Credit Risk Management and Group Head, Northern Operations and Controller – Head Office Operations.
He was The Pioneer Commissioner of Finance and Economic Planning, Government of Bayelsa State of Nigeria in the year 1999 at the commencement of the democratic governance under the present dispensation. Subsequently, he retired from his Commercial Banking career and led the Turn-around Mortgage Team which successfully recapitalized the once moribund Resort Savings and Loans Limited (Mortgage Bankers) in Lagos in 2006. He later floated Trans Atlantic Mortgage Bank Limited in collaboration with the Bayelsa State Government in Yenagoa which he led for 8 years as Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer.
Chief Ogriki is presently self-employed as a Mortgage Broker and Financial Consultant.
